While we love helping people save money by fixing things themselves, we’re even happier to help individuals and families with more substantial needs.

This Christmas, RepairClinic staffers shopped for presents to fulfill the wish lists of eight families in need. To make the gifts even better, staff members volunteered to contribute additional requested items. In addition, RepairClinic gathered food items and personal care products to stock the pantry at Hope Clinic. RepairClinic is a long-time supporter of the Hope Clinic, a local organization that provides medical and dental care to the uninsured as well as compassionate assistance to people in need. More information about the organization is available at TheHopeClinic.org.

The gift drive was organized by members of RepairClinic’s Community Outreach team, a group of RepairClinic staffers who are committed to serving people and organizations both locally and nationally through regular service projects and fundraising drives.

Earlier this year, the Community Outreach team raised funds to benefit the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s, sent letters to soldiers overseas, donated items to the Michigan Veterans Foundation, and participated in the 2015 Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.
