Dozens of RepairClinic employees spent last weekend celebrating survivorship and raising money to fight cancer.

RepairClinic.com employees, including many cancer survivors, walked and jogged the track at the Relay for Life® of Canton to benefit the American Cancer Society®. As an event sponsor, RepairClinic employees also staffed a tent along the track where they sold food, beverages and apparel for additional donations throughout the event.

“So many RepairClinic employees have been personally affected by cancer,” said Janice Eaton, RepairClinic.com employee and chairperson of the company’s Relay for Life committee. “This is a great way to join our local community, have fun together and raise money to support an incredible cause.”

In the few months leading to the Relay for Life event, RepairClinic.com employees held baked good sales and special luncheons at RepairClinic’s headquarters to raise money.

RepairClinic.com’s participation in this event was led by RepairClinic Outreach, a group of employees dedicated to making a positive impact, locally and nationally. Every year, RepairClinic Outreach supports several non-profit organizations through volunteerism and fundraising. Recent activities have included planting more than 70 trees in a Detroit neighborhood.
